Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for research excellence in the Global South
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming research, offering new opportunities for literature reviews, data analysis and evidence synthesis. Yet many AI systems are shaped by Global North data inputs and assumptions, risking the marginalisation of local knowledge, languages and lived realities. This webinar invites researchers and the u'GOOD community of practice members to critically examine the responsible use of AI in Global South research.
Through dialogue and shared experience, participants will explore ethical, transparent and context-sensitive approaches that strengthen research excellence, advance relational wellbeing, and promote more inclusive and socially responsive knowledge production.
The webinar forms part of the u'GOOD research programme's ongoing commitment to building research capacity and advancing Global South thought leadership on relational wellbeing.
