People of u’GOOD: Ștefan-Andrei Trif
Ștefan-Andrei Trif is a graduate of Babeș-Bolyai University in Romania, holding a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in public health psychology, with a thesis in pharmacogenetics. His research interests include youth, with a focus on depression, anxiety, quality of life and subjective wellbeing. He emphasises the importance of strong support systems in fostering the optimal development of younger generations. He contributes to these areas through research and psychotherapy.
He reflected on the Resilient Roots Romania launch that he attended at the University of Bucharest on 27 January 2026:
“I deeply believe that authentic engagement starts with cultivating a sense of safety and belonging. My experience at the Resilient Roots launch in Bucharest highlighted the incredible warmth and inclusivity of our community, providing the exact environment young people need to bring their true selves to the table and drive real social impact.”
Ștefan was fascinated by the range of resources and the mix of expertise that came together at the launch. Seeing these diverse role players work together with a shared focus on youth wellbeing is a promising sign of where the project is heading.
